Around and Around CD review.
Steve Nicholls, of the Birmingham Evening Mail writes: "The title track of his debut album is bright-eyed summer pop, heavy on the melody. What It Takes has slabs of synth to keep us in the retro mood, with Gary's vocals this time making recollections of bands like the Icicle Works all the more vivid. Anyway, the surprise here is Sensitize which bursts forth amid a torrent of distorted guitars and phasered synths, before Gary takes over at his rough-throated best."

Classic Rock writes: "Very, very catchy. The pure jangly pop of "Wonderful Life" and "Shooting Star" is perfectly balanced by the ballsier rock of the title track. A great variety of tunes but all in all you can't get away from the fact that there is some strong songwriting on this album and "shooting star" could be a hit in anyone's eyes. You can also tell things have happened in this guy's life with the tortured "Torn and Twisted". Looking forward to the next release already."
